Nobu Bank Showcases QRIS Tap Innovation in the Transportation Sector at FEKDI 2025

Jakarta, 30 October 2025 – As part of the Festival Ekonomi Keuangan Digital Indonesia (FEKDI) andIndonesia Fintech Summit and Expo (IFSE) 2025, held from 30 October to 1 November 2025 at Hall B,Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) Senayan, Nobu Bank participated in this prestigious event as part of a jointeffort to strengthen synergy and innovation in accelerating Indonesia’s economic and digital financialtransformation.

Carrying the theme “Synergy and Innovation for Accelerating Indonesia’s Economic and Digital FinancialTransformation,” this annual event is a collaboration between the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairsof the Republic of Indonesia, Bank Indonesia, and the Financial Services Authority (OJK).

Since the initial launch of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) initiative by Bank Indonesia,Nobu Bank has consistently been one of the most active banks in implementing, developing, and innovatingQRIS-based payment solutions. This commitment continues to the present day as the Bank strives to expandQRIS utilization across various sectors of society. Nobu Bank sees tremendous long-term potential in theadvancement of QRIS as a tangible step towards building a robust, efficient, and inclusive digital economicecosystem.

As one of the first movers among Payment Service Providers (PJP) to innovatively implement QRIS Tap,Nobu Bank presented a booth themed “QRIS Tap for Transportation” at FEKDI & IFSE 2025. Through thisparticipation, Nobu Bank aims to introduce the convenience and benefits of QRIS Tap in supportingseamless, secure, and efficient cashless transactions, particularly for public transportation users.

The implementation of QRIS Tap in the transportation sector is expected to be a concrete step towardsintegrating a more practical and efficient digital payment system—enabling users to complete transactionsfaster and more conveniently with just a simple tap when using public transportation services.
