Jakarta, September 24, 2026 – PT Bank Nationalnobu Tbk (Nobu Bank) reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the acceleration of digitalization in Indonesia’s economy and financial sector through its participation in the Festival Ekonomi dan Keuangan Digital Indonesia (FEKDI) x Indonesia Fintech Summit & Expo (IFSE) 2026, which officially opened today, Thursday (September 24), at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC), Jakarta.
FEKDI x IFSE 2026 is one of Bank Indonesia’s flagship events, carrying this year’s theme, “Strengthening Synergy, Accelerating Innovation, Nurturing Globally Competitive Talent for the Advancement of Indonesia’s Digital Economy and Financial Sector.” The event serves as a platform for collaboration among regulators, the government, the financial industry, technology players, fintech companies, academics, and the public to foster innovation and expand the adoption of digital economy and financial services in Indonesia.
The opening of FEKDI x IFSE 2026 took place on Thursday, September 24, and was attended by several national leaders, including Airlangga Hartarto, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia; Tito Karnavian, Minister of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia; Destry Damayanti, Governor of Bank Indonesia; and Friderica Widyasari Dewi, Chairwoman of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Throughout the FEKDI x IFSE 2026 agenda, Bank Indonesia once again emphasized the importance of synergy and accelerated digital transformation in building an increasingly inclusive, efficient, secure, and reliable digital economy and financial ecosystem.
As part of its participation, Nobu Bank is showcasing a QRIS Tap transaction experience through an electric vehicle charging station simulation, in collaboration with Cazgo, an EV Charging solutions provider offering integrated charging technology and platforms for electric vehicles.
Through this experience, visitors to the Nobu Bank booth can see firsthand how digital payments can be integrated into everyday needs and the electric vehicle ecosystem. QRIS Tap offers a more seamless transaction experience through contactless technology, while also demonstrating how payment system innovation can be connected to various sectors and emerging economic activities.
Cazgo is an EV Charging solutions provider that develops integrated charging stations and platforms, including charging data monitoring, charger location information, and digital payment support through payment gateway connectivity. Cazgo also develops its infrastructure based on international electric vehicle charging technology standards.
“Nobu Bank’s participation in FEKDI is part of our commitment to continuously support Bank Indonesia’s efforts to accelerate digital payment transformation and build Indonesia’s digital economy ecosystem. We want to bring this spirit into real-life experiences that are close to people’s everyday lives, one of which is through the integration of QRIS Tap with the electric vehicle ecosystem,” said Steve Marciano Joe, Director of Nobu Bank.
Nobu Bank’s commitment to FEKDI is also part of the Bank’s continued support for various Bank Indonesia initiatives in promoting digital transformation in Indonesia. For Nobu Bank, digitalization is not merely about introducing new technologies, but also about how technology can create transaction experiences that are increasingly convenient, fast, secure, and relevant to people’s needs.
The collaboration with Cazgo in presenting the EV Charging simulation at FEKDI x IFSE 2026 also reflects Nobu Bank’s view that the development of digital payment systems will become increasingly integrated across various sectors of the economy. From transportation and commerce to public services and the electric vehicle ecosystem, digital payment systems play an important role in creating increasingly seamless user experiences.
On the occasion, Bank Indonesia Governor Destry Damayanti also visited the Nobu Bank booth and experienced a QRIS Tap transaction firsthand through the electric vehicle charging station simulation presented by Nobu Bank in collaboration with Cazgo. The moment provided a tangible example of how payment system innovation can be brought to life and introduced directly to the public through an interactive digital experience.
Nobu Bank’s presence at FEKDI x IFSE 2026 is also part of its ongoing digital transformation journey, which continues to evolve through product and service innovation as well as collaboration with various partners across the digital ecosystem. With the spirit of “Level Up,” Nobu Bank continues to strive to deliver banking and payment solutions that are relevant to evolving lifestyles and the needs of people in the digital era.
Through its participation in FEKDI x IFSE 2026, Nobu Bank aims to continue being part of the collaboration between industry and regulators in expanding the adoption of digital technology, strengthening the payment ecosystem, and contributing to the development of an increasingly inclusive and sustainable digital economy in Indonesia.
